CBD In Dementia
Health Care teams are in fact turning to CBD oil to help their loved ones suffering from some of the worst conditions which modern medicine simply is falling short. With such symptoms such as dementia, is the purpose of this story and what we hope sheds light on how important more research is necessary for the effects of CBD oil.
In July 2019 the attached news broadcast from Canada shares an incredible case where a wheelchair ridden who has resided in a nursing home for a few years now, David, was suffering from the common screams from which symptoms carry the title called, Dementia.
According to Google research, more people are searching for help specifically for CBD oil for dementia in adults. Why? Because Family members, friends, and bypassers are often forced to endure these outbursts. It's uncontrolled and no known cure to treat it exists today. Synthetic drugs are often used and many family members simply do not feel comfortable with this. They are seeking alternative, natural ways that help.

Tackling the symptoms of dementia
According to the Alzheimers.org journal:
"Research does suggest that high concentrations of CBD oil could be useful for managing some of the symptoms of dementia such as agitation and anxiety.
A few small clinical trials have assessed the effects of cannabinoids (including THC and synthetic cannabinoids, such as nabilone) on behavioural symptoms of dementia. However, trials and studies so far have generally been small or low quality making it difficult to come to a conclusion.
It is also important to note that the researchers in these studies have used high concentrations of CBD oil that may not be available to buy. These studies have also been short term so we still don’t know what the long term effects of using CBD oil might be.
A study is currently underway at King’s College London that will look at whether a mouth spray containing cannabinoids could be used to reduce symptoms of agitation and aggression in a small group of people with Alzheimer’s disease."
While it's obvious more research is necessary to know for certain, family members and friends are not denying that CBD is helping them find some normality from a disease that is extremely unforgiving.
